I always knew deep down that my first tattoo would be a Morrissey tattoo.
The only man worthy enough to brand me for life
“Scratch my name on your arm with a fountain pen, this means you really love me..”
This piece is all done by the one and only Ms. Crystal Canez at Ink Avenue in Glendale, Arizona. She is also a dear friend of mine and her work is completely amazing. I also plan to get Morrissey’s portrait done above this piece.
fyeahstick-n-poke: A Morrissey tattoo, diy. Moz, I love you!
Focal Length: 6mm
I got this one a few days ago.
fuckyeahtattoos: “Still Ill” Because is my favorite song. Done by Daniel Fernandez @Tirando tinta - Coyoacán, Mexico City - http://demoselrol.tumblr.com/
fuckyeahtattoos: This is my tattoo to commemorate The Smiths, one of my all time favorite bands. The script is from “There is a light, that never goes out” one of my favorite songs.
There wasn’t much depth behind my tattoo, other than my deep respect and love for the band and song. I got this at staring without caring, by Marc Nava in Tucson Az.
Marc has done all of my tattoos, and I truly value the quality of his work, and how fun he is to be tattooed by. Unfortunately for me, and all other Tucson-ans he’s moved to New York and now works at Da vinci tattoos and piercings.
“Never loosen the grip on our hands” - Morrissey from the song Nobody Loves Us. Again thank you Kerry Rose Kahn so much! It’s amazing and I love it.
The day I met God.
On March, I met Morrissey outside the hotel where he was staying in Argentina. It was the best day of my life, he was so kind and sweet. I was supposed to ask him to sign my arm so I could get a tattoo but I just couldn’t speak. A week after that, I made this ”Morrissey” tattoo in my leg :)
Julian G. Garza’s You’re The One For Me, Fatty
fuckyeahtattoos: My only tattoo. “My love, wherever you are Whatever you are Don’t lose faith I know it’s gonna happen someday To you” - Morrissey. On my foot to keep me looking up when I’m looking down. Done at Platinum Tattoos
fuckyeahtattoos: Girrissey. Travis and I couldn’t stop laughing while working on this. It was originally just going to be Gir but in a flash of crazy as he was drawing it up I said “Haha…you should put a pompadour on him and make him Morrissey.” Once said, it had to be done. All work by Travis Madden, Taylor Street Tattoos, Chicago.
It’s all bloody and not very clear in this photo, because this was seconds after it got done! I’ll post a clean photo when I get the green done and it touched up.
But this is my The Smiths/Morrissey tattoo.
I literally can’t express how happy I am, and how nice this looks. It means so much to me!
“To die by your side would be such a heavenly way to die”
